The world since March 2020 has challenged all of us. A global pandemic. National and international political conflict. Social reckoning. Climate disasters. The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay presents a concert that consoles our grief, and reminds us that by helping others, we can add hope and solace to the world. Our small acts of kindness shine light; when we act together, So Breaks the Sun.

Featuring works by Brahms, Price, Bonds, Gilson Voth, Boulanger, Lloyd and a new commission and world premiere of a new choral work by Joan Szymko. This new commission is made possible by a generous gift from Cynthia L. May, Esq.

Conducted by Matthew Abernathy with Rodney Shores on piano.
